Good Morning Everyone,

It’s a bit strange how the days are merging together but I am sure it’s Friday today and the day we break up for the holidays. This is the most unusual start of the holiday I can remember in all the years I have been a teacher and a mum.

So, here are some holiday activities for you. Just a few ideas to help keep everyone busy and happy. These things could last you a long time. A lot of them are things that older brothers and sisters could do with their younger brother and sisters. I hope they may be useful for you.

We would love to hear how you are getting on with things and what you are all up to. I’ve had some great emails form lots of you already.

My main advice is if the weather is good go out in the garden and save inside things for when you are stuck inside because of the weather.

Mrs Gill also sent this link through to me. She says her children are really enjoying it. Thank you Mrs Gill for sharing. It’s a meditation for children. I know not everyone will find this useful so it is only sent to people who are interested. I apologise that I don’t have time to send separate parent emails.

Later today or over the weekend I am going to start a holiday diary for some of the toys children in Year R and 1 take home for the weekend etc (well actually the ones I could find ~i t would appear Danny, Dave, Dee Dee and Charlie are still out and about in someone’s house ~ and our new black lab puppy whose name I forget at the moment). If they are with you send me a picture of you and them! You could make holiday diaries or  video diaries and films with your toys ~ no matter how young or old you are. You could write plays or film scripts for them too!

I also had another message from Alex suggesting these links below. I haven’t looked at them so let us know if they are helpful.
