This week our school had a very special visitor – former professional cyclist Phil Bateman. He spent the day with us, running exciting cycling sessions for every class.

The children had the chance to learn new skills on their bikes and take part in a variety of fun activities. From practising jumps and testing balance in the limbo challenge, to showing off their speed in races, everyone gave it their best effort.

Phil shared his passion for cycling, encouraged children to challenge themselves, and gave plenty of tips for safe and confident riding. The playground was full of laughter, cheering, and plenty of impressive bike tricks!

The children thoroughly enjoyed the day, and many left feeling inspired to get out on their bikes more often. A huge thank you to Phil Bateman for visiting our school and giving our pupils such a fantastic, memorable experience.
