Our Year 5 and Year 6 pupils recently returned from an exciting two-night residential visit to Liverpool, packed with learning, exploration and memorable experiences. Throughout the trip, pupils demonstrated excellent behaviour and represented the school brilliantly.

During their stay, the children explored some of Liverpool's most famous landmarks and attractions. They visited a range of fascinating museums, where they discovered more about the city's rich history, culture and scientific achievements. A particular highlight was a visit to Eureka! Science + Discovery, they took the Ferry Across the Mersey to Eureka! Science + Discovery. The ferry journey provided fantastic views of Liverpool's waterfront and gave pupils a unique perspective of the city.

The group also had the opportunity to visit Everton's impressive new stadium, gaining an insight into one of the city's proud sporting traditions. For some friendly competition and plenty of laughter, pupils enjoyed playing crazy golf and enjoyed meals together at The Botanist and Pizza Express.

As part of their cultural learning, the children visited churches, mosques and a synagogue, helping them to develop a greater understanding of different faiths, beliefs and communities. They also visited the iconic Beatles statue and learned more about Liverpool's rich history, culture and heritage.

The residential provided countless opportunities for learning beyond the classroom, helping pupils to develop teamwork, resilience, independence and confidence. Most importantly, it created wonderful memories that will stay with them for years to come.

We are incredibly proud of all the children for their enthusiasm, curiosity and exemplary behaviour throughout the trip. A huge thank you goes to the staff who organised and accompanied the visit, making this fantastic experience possible.
